Transitional Kindergarten Requirements

The required age for Transitional Kindergarten students is four years of age by September 1. Transitional Kindergarten is the first year of a two-year Kindergarten program that uses a modified Kinderarten curriculum that is age and developmentally appropriate. A child who completes one year in a Transitional Kindergarten program shall continue in a Kindergarten program for one additional year if deemed ready by the teacher/principal and is of the required age for new enrollment.

Kindergarten Requirements

The required age for Kindergarten admission is five years of age by September 1st for new enrollment. Bring your child’s original birth and baptismal certificates (a baptismal certificate is not needed if baptized at St. Pancratius).

1st Grade Requirements

California law requires a child to be six years old on or before September 1st to be legally eligible for first grade (EC Section 48010) for new enrollment.

It is open enrollment. Applications are available at the school office or by clicking on the button below. Testing for grades TK-8 will be scheduled on an individual basis.

Applications for grades TK – 8th are now being accepted for the 2024-2025 school year.
