Dear Prospective Students and Families,

Thank you for your interest in St. Pancratius School!

We are a vibrant Catholic school serving students from Transitional Kindergarten through eighth grade.

St. Pancratius students thrive in our faith-filled and nurturing environment. Smaller class sizes ensure that our highly qualified teachers are able to meet the needs of each student and focus on the development of the whole child. In our cohesive learning community, we support our students’ academic, social, spiritual, physical, and cultural growth. Through differentiated instruction, a rigorous curriculum and a supportive learning environment, students gain a strong academic foundation, grow to be confident, independent thinkers, and learn to utilize their gifts from the greater good.

We are a achool that values community and communication. Parents are recognized as the primary educators of their children and forming parent/teacher partnerships is an important part of our philosophy at St. Pancratius. Together with parents, our dedicated faculty and staff ensure that each student is able to access their full potential. Faculty and staff are in regular communication with each other and the entire school community in order to maintain transparency and foster collaboration.

Our students enjoy their school experience. They are proud of their accomplishments and are excited to engage in opportunities that have a positive impact on others. Many times, this is achieved through student led service projects, peer tutoring, special events, or other school activities.

The St. Pancratius School community is an active community of faith. Students regularly attend Mass and participate in reconciliation and adoration several times a year. We promote a life of service by inviting parents, students, and parishioners to join us for service projects, community building activities, and special events in which we honor others.

Our strong academic curriculum is guided by the California Common Core and State Standards. We offer Algebra and Spanish four middle school students and PE, Music, and Art for all students. Students are also invited to participate in after school programs such as STEM groups, Spanish classes, CYO Sports, Choir and Dance. Our students integrate technology into their everyday assignments and are actively engaged in lessons, hands-on experiences and peer learning throughout each school day. Our teachers participate in regular professional developement and faculty collaboration in order to stay current with best practices.

We believe you will come to truly appreciate what we have to offer at St. Pancratius School once you see it for yourself. Call our office today at (562) 634-6310 to schedule a tour of our beautiful 10-acre campus. You will see our students actively engaged in 21st century learning and witness our commitment to the formation of mature, responsible, caring, academically prepared and informed individuals. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Sincerely,
