Welcome to 8th Grade!

The middle school teachers actively collaborate to ensure that each student has the opportunity to master the curriculum and prepares students for the transition from elementary to high school—spiritually, academically, and emotionally.

By the end of our eighth grade year, the students will have significant experience in the areas of:

Justify claims using relevant and contextual evidence. Cite textual evidence to support ideas (explicit and inference). Effectively explain individual processes used to solve problems. Offers leveled mathematics according to the student’s needs Demonstrate Catholic values, as expressed in our Schoolwide Learning Expectations, in our actions and words.

Eighth grade students complete a culminating Schoolwide Learning Expectations activity that ensures that every student has mastered the Schoolwide Learning Expectations that they have been practicing since kindergarten that will be presented to students and staff.

We teach 8th Grade Algebra.
